Maybe you are not in pain; maybe you do not seek release. Maybe you do not need to see a real human being who has gone through real human pain, with astonishing grace, asking humbly to lead you.
I do. I need to witness his example. I need to see what is possible on the other side of tragedy.
I need recognition of shared humanity.
